Passion For Savings Cost List!
I wanted to post a quick reminder that you can download and print a complete cost list of my Personal Purchase and Stock Up Prices.
One of the main problems with posting a cost list is that the pricing in every area is different. I’ve included the average retail cost in my area for each item so that you can determine if your stock up prices should be higher, lower or about the same as the ones listed.
If your Retail Prices on an item are much higher than those in my area then you will need to adjust your purchase prices and stock up prices higher. Additionally if you have a lot of competition between grocery stores then you may need to adjust the prices lower. I’ve provided a Blank Stock Up Sheet for you to print and create your own personal list, and I’ve created the Stockpiling list with Both Purchase Prices and Stock Up Prices.
Here’s how to Use the Passion For Savings Cost List:
There are three prices listed for each item. A Retail Cost, a Purchase Cost and a Stock Up Cost.
- Retail Cost - This is the cost in my area, I wouldn’t pay this cost, but I wanted you to have it as a guide so you can adjust your prices accordingly if the prices in your area are significantly higher or lower.
- Purchase Cost - This is the Typical Sale Cost or Sale and Coupon Cost. You’re going to save 30-50% off just by always trying to stick to this cost! Typically at a purchase cost I’m going to purchase enough to last 6-8 weeks to get me through to the next sale or coupon on that item.
- Stock Up Cost - This is a HOT Cost! If you find the Stock Up Cost on an item or even better, Lower than the stock up cost on an item then it’s time to purchase a little more. These prices typically happen every 3-6 months depending on the item.
I have also included some unit pricing which is helpful if you shop at Warehouse Stores frequently.
One Feature you will find is that I mark Purchase Prices and Stock Up Prices on my posts to help you become familiar with these prices and to help you spot those Hot Deals Quickly! I’ll still be posting other deals with coupons, etc. because we all know that there are items we need right now but I’m hoping to also help you differentiate the different levels of sales with this system.
