I posted about Rolling Walgreens Register Rewards earlier today. I noticed that I’ve received a few comments stating that some stores are only allowing you to use one Register Reward per transaction. This should not be happening and you SHOULD be able to use more then one per transaction.
This is what the fine print on the Register Reward states, “Coupon Value cannot exceed purchase amount. Total number of Manufacturer coupons/Register Rewards cannot exceed the number of items in the transaction”
This means that you can use as numerous Register Rewards as you like. Just make sure the number of Register Rewards/manufacturer coupons doesn’t exceed the number of items and that the value of your Register Rewards isn’t higher then the value of your transaction before tax.
If a cashier tells you that you’ll only be able to use one, then nicely show her the wording on the coupon. If that doesn’t work get a manager. Typically that should do the trick. If not, let the manager know you will be calling corporate regarding this.

Final Thoughts
Before you check out, double-check walgreens using multiple register against current offers and any coupons you can stack. Small habits like this add up to real savings over a year.
