Hi guys, welcome to this personal finance blog! No wonder you are thinking this is another of those numerous blogs talking about steps to lower your monthly expenditure, finding excellent deals in shopping and talking about excellent places to invest your money.

You are right this blog will talk about all those things, but the key focus will be on how I am achieving this. This blog will be more like what I have done, and not what you should do. In a way the techniques and tips are tried tested before I ask you to follow.

Blogging is not my day job, it is one of the ways to indulge in what I like and making money out of it. for last few years I have followed PF blogs, incorporating the teachings from them. No, always the tips do not work. You can’t go on living frugal life and accumulate wealth. At one point of time you have to use the wealth you accumulated to give you satisfaction. Money in bank gives happiness, but money that goes into buying things for your loved ones brings happiness for numerous.

Other point is, when can you start using the money you accumulated? Is it when you retire? No, when you retire, you are probably not young. You do not have toddlers around you, probably you are with your wife. What about your kids who missed the fun when he/she needed, because you were living frugal life.

Answer is, spend your wealth throughout your life, enjoy each day, use your money wisely and optimally, get excellent benefits out of your saving. I got a decent success so far in wealth building and I enjoy my life too. If you aim is to become a millionaire at retirement, you can be so even if you spend what you should spend, no need to cut back on everything. Get those vacations, purchase the gadgets pursue your hobby and still become a millionaire.

I am 36 year old immigrant, she is house wife and can not work due to visa restrictions, till I get my green card. My credit history started in 2005. I do not own a house in US, partially because, in Florida homes are too costly, and partially I changed job frequently in past few years.  I have no kid yet, but want to have soon, waiting for a stork visit.

With current net wroth of $198K, I drive a hand me down Hyundai Elantra, a car due in next few months followed by, probably, a home. I have company 401K and traditional IRA, I can not invest in Roth IRA, will give the reason in future posts. I made plenty of  financial mistakes which I will tell you eventually. Now a days I think I learned from my mistakes and making better decisions.
