All you’ll need is 1.5 cups of milk, 1 cup of your favorite red wine and 1/3 cup of dark chocolate chunks. You can also add whipped cream or marshmallows if you’d like.

We used Trader Joe’s Cabernet Sauvignon, which only costs $2.99 a bottle.

Over medium heat, combine the milk and chocolate, whisking until the chocolate is melted. Add the wine and stir until it’s hot. Pour into your favorite mug.

This red wine hot chocolate took only a few minutes to prepare and costs less than a Pumpkin Spice Latte! You can fill up about two mugs by following the recipe.
